Pilot mecha in rhythm-RPG dance battles in this free standalone adventure from the world of Steel Century Groove. Dance your way through the neon streets of a city where it's always night, challenge rival pilots to burnish your digital reputation, and then delve below the skyscrapers into the ancient ruins of a more dangerous era.

History

Steel Century Groove started full-time development in 2021 as a solo project. Building Midnight as a spin-off provided an opportunity to tell a new story and introduce the world to players from a different angle. The full game will release later in 2025.

• Each mech has a unique set of abilities with their own mechanics and resources. Start out with the Voltace, a lightning mech that builds and spends energy.
• Complete quests around the city to unlock advanced mechs, such as the Aedonix, which activates extra notes your opponent can't hit, or the Sentilon, which summons an army of drones.
• Earn followers by posting your battles to an in-universe social network and receive messages from the pilots you've battled on your journey.
• Explore a futuristic city that's never seen the sun. Sneak into an abandoned arcade and uncover the lost ruins beneath the city.
